Privacy policy

This policy covers placedelite.com, this public website. The PlacedElite application at lms.placedelite.com holds student academic records and is covered by its own agreement with the student's college; this site holds far less.
What this website collects
Nothing at all, unless you type it. You can read every course, take every practice set and use every tool without giving us anything.
When you do act, we collect:

The analytics cookie
We set one cookie, pd_sid. It holds a random value and nothing else — no name, no email, no
account. It lets us count that one person looked at four pages rather than four people looking at
one, which is how we tell whether a page is working.
We do not store your IP address against these events, we do not build a profile, and we do not run advertising trackers, social media pixels or third-party analytics scripts on this site.
Payments
Card and UPI details are entered on Razorpay's own payment page and are never seen by, or sent to, this website. We receive only the outcome — whether the payment succeeded — via the platform. Razorpay's own privacy policy governs what they collect.
What we do with a lead
If you ask for a demo or send a message, we use your details to reply to you and to follow up about PlacedElite. That is all. We do not sell, rent or share lead data, and we do not add you to a marketing list you did not ask for. Every email we send has an unsubscribe option.
How long we keep things
- Enquiries and demo requests: up to 3 years, so we can pick up a conversation you started.
- Notification requests: until we have told you the thing, or you ask us to remove you.
- Anonymous page events: up to 24 months.
- Practice answers: not kept.
Where it is stored
On servers operated for us in India. This website's database is separate from the platform's database — the marketing site cannot read student records.
Your rights
Write to placedelite@gmail.com and you may ask us to:
- tell you what we hold about you,
- correct it,
- delete it,
- stop contacting you.
We will respond within 30 days. For a request about data held inside the platform, please contact your college's placement cell as well — they are the ones who hold that relationship.
Children
This site is intended for college students and staff. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. Material changes will be announced on the site.
