CGPA to percentage, on your university’s formula.

There is no single national formula. Most universities publish a multiplier — commonly 9.5 — and some subtract a constant instead. Use the one printed on your own transcript or academic regulations, because that is the number a company will accept.

On a 10-point scale.
Equivalent percentage

Typical eligibility cut-offs
  • Most service companies: 60% or 6.5 CGPA, no active backlogs
  • Many product companies: 70% or 7.5 CGPA
  • Some drives use CGPA directly and never convert
Put both on your resume — "8.2 CGPA (77.9%)" — and state the formula if your university uses an unusual one. A recruiter screening on percentage should not have to convert it, and a wrong conversion on your own resume is a bad first impression.
