Round 05 of 5 · free guide

The HR round, and reading the offer you are given

Usually the shortest round and rarely the one that eliminates you — but it is where a bond, a service agreement or a variable-pay structure gets mentioned once, quickly, and never explained.

What the round looks like

Fifteen to thirty minutes on fit, relocation, willingness to work in any technology, and whether you will actually join. Then the offer, in a format designed to look larger than it is.

Where it goes wrong. The round is mostly a formality. The offer is not. A quoted package includes variable pay you may never receive, employer contributions you cannot spend, and a gratuity you only see after five years.

How to prepare, in this order

The order matters more than the hours.

Have a real answer for relocation and for 'any technology' — a hesitant yes reads worse than a clear no

Ask for the fixed monthly gross in writing. That is the number your rent comes out of

Read the bond or service agreement clause before you sign, not after

Know what you will say if they ask for a decision in the room

Do this now, for nothing

The free thing that helps with this round.

No account, no email. If it turns out you are already strong here, you have saved yourself the time you were about to spend on it.

Inside the platform, for this round

What being measured adds

  • Articulation drills for the questions everybody fumbles, with a model answer to compare against
  • Speech scored on fluency, pace and filler words — measured from the audio, not the transcript
  • The drive itself: applications, shortlists, offers and post-drive feedback

Tracks: Communication and articulation drills, plus group-discussion practice
